About this blog

Transforming our planet starts with you, me, and all of us.  It is not just about driving a hybrid vehicle or inserting a “print this if you want to kill the trees” in your email signature or buying a CFL to replace an incandescent, although these things are important too.  Transformation must come from within.  Not just our words but actions that have positive vibrations around us which are contagious in a good way.

Transformation of our planet includes, but is most certainly not limited to, reducing worldwide oil dependence; reducing carbon emissions even at an individual level, saving energy whenever possible; signing up for clean energy choice when provided by our utility company; knowing when to turn the ignition off than excess idling, making the right choices whether it is about buying organic food products or even household cleaning supplies containing biodegradable substances; supporting sustainable agriculture and farmers; volunteering to extend your helping hands when needed, contributing your share to the underprivileged in the form of money, clothes, food, and/or your services; eliminating food wastage; riding a bicycle where you can; carpooling; being kind to animals; looking for ways to see how you can touch others’ lives; exercising and eating right; and along the way having some fun!

This blog is one such attempt to send those positive vibrations around.  The blog is intended to cover issues mentioned above and many more as the ideas and thoughts keep pouring in.  With a lot of attention drawn towards the words “green”, “sustainable”, “eco-friendly”, or “natural” by various industries, it is imperative that we differentiate a real vs. phony message.  The hope is that this blog will shed some green light on the issues.  Feel free to reach out to me at rampk@yahoo.com

Have a great green day!
